Parking is available at the field, but this fills up quickly. Certain areas are reserved for referees and for Region 42 staff. As a condition of our permits to use Pepper Tree Park, we must be respectful of the homeowners and businesses adjacent to the park
Where can you park?
- The parking lot at Pepper Tree, which doesn't have many spaces. There is reserved parking for referees and staff in the small lot near the Snack Shack. Also, please see "Pepper Tree parking lot etiquette" below.
- In the business park across the street from Pepper Tree, but NOT in the green spaces (see below)! You may not enter from the entrance closest to Reino Road (it will be blocked).
- Street parking along Reino and Old Conejo Roads, but please observe posted signs.
- Newbury Park High School
NO SOCCER PARKING in the following locations
- The residential streets in the neighborhoods adjacent to Pepper Tree (area marked in red on the map below). We have prominently posted No Soccer Parking signs at the entrance to the neighborhood off of Reino and also on the streets adjacent to the neighborhood entrance to the park. Those signs apply to the entire neighborhood, not just to the areas in which they are posted. We also have two security guards posted in the neighborhood, who will ask AYSO families to move their vehicles.
- What if you have family/friends who live there and they let you park at their house? That's fine, but you must park in the driveway.
- If you are street parking in the neighborhood and we find out, we will stop your child's game until you agree to move your car.
- GREEN parking spots in the Pepper Tree Business Park (located across Old Conejo Rd.). If you are in a green spot, you will be towed as posted by the land owner at the entrance to the Business Center. (Yes, the color scheme seems backwards, but it was their decision.)
- Parts of Old Conejo and Reino Roads that are marked as NO PARKING. Thousand Oaks Police will ticket you!
Pepper Tree parking lot etiquette
- There are two lanes when you enter the lot. The right lane is for people waiting for a spot. The left lane is for player drop-off. We shouldn't have to say this, but please don't cut in line. If you come in via the left lane, drop off your players and family members, and then exit the lot. Nothing good is going to come from taking a parking spot that someone has been waiting for.
- Slow down! There are a lot of pedestrians here, including little kids who are hard to see and who are unlikely to be paying attention to oncoming traffic. The last thing we want is a collision that can easily avoided by simply driving slowly.
