For the 10U division and younger teams who play at Pepper Tree Playfields, each team must work two 2-hour shifts at the Snack Shack over the course of the season. Tournaments held at Pepper Tree Playfields also need Snack Shack volunteers. Please contact our Snack Shack Coordinator if you have any questions about this system.
Snack Shack self-scheduling system
The Snack Shack scheduling system is located at http://www.cgisports.com/vol/5190. This link will open in a new window
Step 1: Enter “volunteer” for the username and password, then click on the Logon button, as per the screenshot below (note: the blue underlined text is part of the screenshot and is not a link).
Step 2: Highlight the category of “Snack Shack” or “Snack Shack BBQ” or both (using your shift key) to obtain the availability schedule. Click on the View Records button.
Step 3: In an open slot, type in your team division and team number (regular season only), followed by your first and last name. For example, if you are representing Team 4 in the U10 Boys Division, you would enter “U10B-4”. Check with your coach to get your team’s division and team number. These are important to ensure your team gets credit. For tournament sign-ups, we only need your name.
Step 4: Click on the “Make Request” button at the bottom of the page to submit and save your time slot. You will then see a screen confirming the shift you signed up for. Please be sure to make a note of when you are scheduled. You will NOT receive a reminder from the system.
Notes
Once you submit your name in a time slot, the system will not allow you to make a change. Please email our our Snack Shack Coordinator to inform her of any changes needed. Examples of needing a change include:
- You input the information on the wrong date in error
- You find out later that you can’t commit to the time slot and you have to move your date and/or time
- You mistyped or forgot to include pertinent information and need to correct the entry
- You want to substitute your name with another parent on the team.
You can go into the system at any time to confirm the date and time slot that you have requested.
Please provide our volunteers the courtesy of not making last minute changes, unless of course it’s an emergency. If we are not able to cover your time slot, we will be shorthanded in the Snack Shack and possibly forced to close.
